What is the KISS System?

The system provides complete routines in the following areas:

Sales

Easy data entry of daily sales transactions, including efficient processing of special orders and capture of customer billing and delivery information.

Sales can be entered by one of three methods:

  1. Point of sale: complete print of sale processing including customer invoice printing.  The system provides the ability to use barcode scanning technology at point-of-sale for reduced data entry.
  2. Reservations only at point of sale: this provides for minimal interaction with the system at point of sale and allows for additional information to be entered later.  This feature is used on fast track floors for inventory information and allocation.
  3. Back room or later day batch entry: this method follows traditional batch processing with routines for document control and inventory allocation by location and priority.

Inventory

The system is able to use numbering (item numbers) as determined by the user.  SKU's, manufacturer stock numbers or an ID designed by your company may be used.  Barcoding applications are available for reduced data entry.  Costing methods available in the system include: average cost, FIFO, LIFO or actual cost when serial number or rack and bin locations are used.  Sets or groups may be established and sold for special pricing or for easier entry.

Purchasing

Increase your profits.  This allows for the ordering, receiving and changing of stock as well as special orders.  Special order capabilities include manufacturing of upholstery products.  It will keep track of component parts, produce work orders, and evaluate production time.

Delivery

For prompt processing and delivery.  This enables you to provide individual deliveries as well as monitoring your trucks.  It also has complete automated back-order capability and loading information.

Accounts receivable

Up-to-the-minute information on customers' balances and the ability to bill and collect revolving and installment accounts.  Special screens and programs to assist in the collection of past-due accounts along with contract printing capability.

Transferring

Provides a built-in transfer capability for those who need it.   The transfers are automatically built by customer sales as well as imbalances in the inventory.

Information lookup

Simple and easy-to-use screens to look up customer or inventory information.  The ability to see anything about your business, including written or delivered sales figures to checking account balances.

Reports

Reports are complete and our customers may request any reports they desire as part of our standard price.  The system includes a powerful report writer that allows the user to design his or her own reports.

Accounts payable

A fully integrated payable entry with features for handling freight bills, credit memos, and vendor charge backs.  Invoice entry allows for split screen review of purchase order information including inventory items and appropriate cost.

General ledger

Provides you with a complete general ledger.  Standard financial reports including income statements, balance sheet and trial balances, as well as custom financial reporting for your business.

Security and maintenance

Has complete security in the form of password and device editing.   We also provide the ability to have help from any screen.  Night report processing and background processing are also part of the utilities.

Service

Provides complete service package with follow-up and charge back to vendor.  This package will prevent you from forgetting promised activity on service as well as provide an easy and complete solution to getting reimbursed by the vendor.
